Funding Your Team’s Development
Make the most of government-funded workforce training – regardless of your business size.
At Elvante, we help UK organisations unlock funding opportunities to upskill and reskill employees, whether you pay the Apprenticeship Levy or qualify for co-funded programmes.
What is the Apprenticeship Levy?
The Apprenticeship Levy is a UK government initiative to boost workforce development. If your payroll exceeds £3 million, you contribute 0.5% of your total into a training fund – funds that can be used for government-funded workforce training to enhance team skills in leadership, digital, finance, or customer service roles.
- No extra budget required
- Covers 100% of approved programme costs
- Levy funds expire after 24 months if unused
Need help using your Levy?
We guide employers in identifying skills gaps, choosing the right training, and making the most of existing Levy contributions.
What if You Don’t Pay the Apprenticeship Levy?
Even if your business doesn’t contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy, you can still access government-funded workforce training to upskill and reskill your team.
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) can receive up to 95% of training costs covered by the government, and in many cases, programmes are fully funded.
95% Co-Funding
Pay only 5% of the programme cost, typically between £250 and £600, depending on the course.
100% Funding for Smaller Teams
If you employ fewer than 50 staff and the learner is under 21 (or under 24 with an EHCP), the government covers 100% of government-funded workforce training costs.
No National Insurance Contributions
Employers don’t pay National Insurance on learners under 25, providing extra savings while building workforce capability.
